Faith Syekei is a vibrant, energetic, cheerful, hard working, positive vibes kind of lady who is so passionate about acting and looks to bring a difference in how society looks at acting in Kenya, impact the world at large through her talent and to pass on her skills as well to the younger generation.
From the tender age of 4 she was already taking part in school skits and dances for price giving days and various other school activities such as swimming competitions, music festivals, playing in the band, sports but her passion for acting was incomparable. The primary drama school teachers discovered a light in her and recruited her into the drama club. Since then she went on to win various awards in the National Drama Festivals that were held each year, both in Primary and highschool as you will see in her credits.
She has gone on to get major acting roles in the film industry most recent being "Diana" in the all popular telenovella Zari on DSTV and Maisha magic east by Jiffy Pictures, "lady doctor" on Becky series by Jiffy Pictures on Citizen TV, "Neema" in the filmed set book Bembeya ya Maisha which will be part of examinations for the highschool students from this year 2023, which was filmed by Climax Publishers.She also played "Racheal" in a TV drama series House of Commotion which aired on KTN Burudani TV by Zenawood Productions.
She has also featured in other films this year such as Love Therapy which aired on Maisha Magic Movies as "Sheilah" and "Naomi" and later "Linette" in the TV series Njoro wa Uber on Maisha Magic East not forgetting a Student film by KCA University Students A Taste of Lemonade where she played the teacher and played Sheila in a movie The Secret by Connie Kabarry Productions. She is working on the popular YouTube Series " A Nurse Toto" by Eddie Butita as script supervisor and actor as well along with another popular Youtube series "Dinga ya Wife" by YY comedian as 1st AD and Script supervisor.
She is also currently in an ensemble for a musical named Scrooge by Nairobi Performing Arts Studio directed and produced by Stuart Nash.
Faith has also been selected for a couple of advertisements such as Detrex Soap as lead character, Bolt Insecticides as the lead character, KCB Mpesa advertisement as supporting cast, Note 30 digital advertisement as supporting actor, TB advertisement by Amref as supporting actor, Pearl Rice advertisement as supporting actor, Workable digital advertisement as supporting cast, Prudential Insurance advertisement as supporting cast and Safaricom advertisement as a background actor.
She has also been working with Angalia Dubbing/ Ona Studios as a Voice Over artist for various projects among them An Oriental Ordessey Kenyan English version on Startimes voicing the main character "YeYuanaan" and Marry Me Marry You Swahili version on Startimes as main character "Camille". This has really expounded her skills when it comes to expressing emotions through voice.
Faith is also a mother and wife and an aspiring director in the film industry. She believes that anything is possible as long as you have the passion, the vision and you put in the work. She is most of all always eager to learn. The sky is the floor!
