NYAWIRA ALISON BIOGRAPHY
Nyawira Alison, a singer, actress, commercial model and drama teacher from Nairobi, Kenya, started singing at the tender age of five and stage acting from the year 2011. Her professional career started at the Phoenix Theater, Nairobi, while doing a musical play titled “Pirates of Nairobi Dam” an adaptation of the musical play “Pirates of Penzance”.
She continued doing stage plays until the year 2012 where she was involved in a three month tour in Europe performing in the musical show “Out of Africa – Magical Safari through Kenya”. Upon her return, she started off with on-screen acting in the upcoming show “The Samaritans,” a musical show called “Groove Theory Season 2, and went on to appear in various Tv shows, short films, feature films and Tv commercials.
Nyawira released her EP album “Nimeamua” in the year 2016, played the leading lady role (Chichi) in the very successful musical play "Lwanda Rockman" at the Kenya National theatre 2019 and 2024.
Recent screen shows she has been involved in are Mid-life crisis film in 2020, Kina 2023 and the short film "Fatherhood" 2024

I have been singing for the last 34 years and acting for the last 13 and have had training in song writing, voice overs, stage performance, voice coaching, articulation, blocking, script interpretation just to mention a few.
