Simi Marie is a performer and writer both for stage and screen. Both of which she's been doing for ten years. In 2022, she enrolled into KCA University where she would go on to pursue a Bachelor in Film Technology and Performing Arts. Under the wing of prominent names in the industry as her lecturers, she has been able to fine tune her raw talents into a professional skill. She is currently in her fourth year and is excited to fully step into the industry.
The course has helped her gain a bird's eye view of the logistics and dynamics of perfomance, both onscreen and offscreen. This makes it such that she crafts her talent uniquely around the needs of every project and client she works with, as a piece of a puzzle not the center of it. Additionally, having explored some crew responsibilities both during school projects and her internship at KBC, she has insights on how the other aspects of production come together to art.
Additionally, she majored briefly in psychology. Her understand of the human mind and nature is advantage she uses to bring to life characters that are realistic and memorable both in performance and in writing. She believes story telling should be about making people feel seen as they truly are not as we wish them to be, and us devoted to portraying this is her work.
